Small town Polo has access to both Galena and Oregon trails. While Galena has more paved roads and still in use today, Oregon Trail has some walk paths that connect towns like Haldane and Dixon, hometown of Ronald Reagan. Let’s explore them!

When I moved to Polo over three decades ago I was always in awe of the house. A couple years ago it was on the market for $400,000. It was fun seeing the house on Realtor.com. There used to be an old water tower, but I don’t think it’s useable anymore. It might be fine for wireless internet.
I have had dreams of the house and build a bunk house off the property. There’s some farmland that goes with it. And use the place for a horseback riding with the Oregon Trail so close. It be really fun since I worked at a dude ranch for kids, a similar nostalgia comes over the place when I am near it. It would be very fun.
Today it is allegedly set for auction via Zillow.com, with about fifty pairs of eyes looking with interest. With renovations, the value is estimated to be around $2.2 million. That kitchen is lovely! A dozen bedrooms and nine bathrooms is a dream. The property is beautiful!
